City of Balanga Wetland & Nature Park

Bird watching is listed among the best ways to escape the urban setting. The park, which is the first wetland park along the Manila Bay area, firmly promotes eco-tourism.

To preserve its environmental genuineness, the place has been enhanced with facilities such as an information center, an exhibit area, viewing decks, and some picnic huts for guests. The City of Balanga Wetland and Nature Park is recognized by the Department of Tourism as one of the best bird-watching sites in the Philippines.

Thousands of migratory birds like egrets and water kingfishers from China, Canada, and other parts of the world come here yearly, making the city one of the top bird census sites all over the Philippines.
